PITTSBURGH LIGHT RAIL
Train Reaching First Ave.

A train in this view is close to the First Ave. station.  The mammoth construction of the Panhandle Bridge can again be appreciated.  The stone piers attest to its venerable status as part of the Pittsburgh landscape.  The crossing first saw train activity well over a century ago, in 1903.
