Old and New Stations

MTA's Jamaica Station, with its large curved roof, is visible in the upper center of this view.  The old Long Island Railroad platforms are to the left, beneath it.  One  commuter train is in the scene on a track close to AirTrain. 

Three subway lines also serve this transportation facility: the E, J and Z.  But all activity on the city system is below-ground.
