This view is at Julia St., two short stops away
from Thalia St., the end of the route to the south. The
structure in the background, approximately beneath which is the
line's last stop, is the Greater New Orleans Bridge. The Gulf of
Mexico is a hundred or so river miles away, but this is the last
bridge southward to span the Mississippi. Just beyond the
bridge structures is the city's cruise ship terminal, where ever
larger vessels frequently dock to spew out thousands of potential
