NEW ORLEANS STREETCAR
Routes Diverge

The streetcars have seasonal decorations at either end in this late November view.  The closer car has just crossed the foot of Canal St., and is heading for its terminal at Thalia St.  The other unit is turning onto Canal, and is heading for "Cemeteries."

Not far away, out of sight to the right, a venerable ferry takes passengers and autos to and from Algiers on the other side of the Mississippi.  Foot passengers ride for free.
