Metro uses what is worldwide a common kind of
stylized and geographically highly distorted map to depict the
system's rail network. This map also shows
some other key links.
This 2006 version of the map depicts the Gold Line extension to East
L.A. in its "under construction" status. It also
shows the Orange Line, an express bus route utilizing mostly-reserved right of way in the San Fernando Valley. Both subway
routes appear under "Red Line" coloring, before the Purple
Line designation came about. |
