LOS ANGELES METRO LIGHT RAIL
Former Times

This photo returns to a view from the narrow and steep bridge that took Oaklawn Ave. over what was once two railroads through South Pasadena.   A Union Pacific branch line long ago occupied the space closer to the power lines.  And the former Santa Fe route has been transformed into the concrete-tied Gold Line.

The bridge structure is closed to motor traffic now, but pedestrians and train-watchers can still pass, or pause, overhead.
