LOS ANGELES METRO LIGHT RAIL
Slow Running

This view returns to the very narrow confines of Marmion Way as the Gold Line travels through Highland Park in Northeast Los Angeles.  There are crossings almost every block, and it is slow going for the light rail.  Significant speed and noise restrictions are in place here, as well as in South Pasadena further to the north, all of which contribute to the relatively slow time that trains take to complete each run.
