The decorative tower adjacent to the Del Mar
station is placed over the elevator that connects the plaza with
underground parking. Its function is not readily apparent to the casual passenger,
and its design may be perceived to be a bit enigmatic. The
overall station art scheme, used on the decorative fencing and
gates, is "Kinetic Energy," by Ries Niemi. |
