Part of the detail of the base to a spire called
"Geologica 42" rises between the tracks in this view from
the platform at Fillmore. The tall spire was designed and executed by Michael McMillen.
The number "42" commemorates baseball player Jackie Robinson, who
grew up in Pasadena. |
