meeting along one of the curves between Southwest Museum and Highland
Park. It's a clear late-winter morning, and the San Gabriels
are in view in the background.
All LA Metro rail lines have official route numbers, not seen by the
passenger in customary use. The lines are numbered in the 800
series in the order of their creation, intermixed between
light rail and subway. The Gold Line is Route
