HOUSTON LIGHT RAIL
Bell and Downtown

The Bell station is in the southern part of downtown, and is three stops away from the northern end of the line.  In this view an inbound train is at the low platform.

Despite its name, Main St. is no longer the primary avenue of commerce through center city.  Old high rise buildings line Main ahead.  The taller and newer corporate buildings that were constructed during Houston's energy-boom era lie along the blocks to the west.  Some of those buildings can be seen in the distance.

The First United Methodist Church appears behind the train.  It will be shown again on several subsequent pages in this series.
