HOUSTON LIGHT RAIL
By the Water Slide

In the old days trolleys and interurbans often ended by amusement parks some distance out from the center city.  The Red Line's last stop is more or less adjacent to Waterworld, and beyond that, to Six Flags Astroworld.  But a heavy duty fence marks the boundary, and the actual entrance to the parks is not particularly convenient.  The inbound train in this view has just passed a giant water slide, and will soon cross the I-610 access roads.
