DENVER LIGHT RAIL
Turning Downtown

The first light rail route of the modern Denver era began operation in 1994.

In this view vehicle #101, manufactured by Siemens-Duewag, negotiates a curve in center city.  The line uses one-way running, with stations along two parallel streets, Stout and California, to traverse downtown.    Speeds are quite slow here.
