This Blue Line train picture here at Downtown Garland will
soon take off on its mostly high-speed run to join the Red Line at
Mockingbird, and then to continue on generally south through
downtown Dallas and on to Ledbetter.
DART serves a partnership
of about a dozen municipalities. Garland is hardly a small
town. The most recent census shows its population to be over
215,000 -- the 82nd largest city in the country. |
