There are a variety of furniture stores, antique
shops, galleries, design studios and other businesses in the South
End. New construction is also evident in this 2008 view.
Two stations, close together, mark the southern end of the Charlotte
Trolley. Atherton Mill is behind the camera, and Tremont is
just ahead. Beyond there the single track joins up with the LYNX
Blue Line (rails seen to the left in this photo), and the two lines
run together until the latter's terminal at 7th St. in Uptown. |
