With its striking gold dome the old Buffalo Savings Bank building is
a prominent feature downtown. It was constructed more than a
century ago, and has carried several names during its existence. Much more
modern architecture stands behind it in this view.
An inbound
two-car train is in the foreground, headed
for the terminal at Erie Canal Harbor. Metro Rail is operated
by Niagara Frontier Transit Authority, which also runs the bus lines
