BOSTON LIGHT RAIL
Car 3238

The PCC streetcar rules on the Mattapan-Ashmont line, the only place in the country that still operates the cars on a regular basis in other than a historic-trolley sort of way.  The vehicles have been extensively reworked, several times, but they soldier on, and are the only kind of vehicles that operate on this route.

This view is at Mattapan.  Ashmont is about two and one-half miles away.
