Car 3833 waits to lead a two-car train inbound at Heath
St. Loop.  This is the latest model on the Green Line, built by
		Breda.

All the branches once exclusively operated PCC streetcars, although
Boston did not get involved in a major way in their acquisition nearly as early as some other cities did.  Those old
cars, manufactured based upon the findings and research of the Electric
Railway Presidents' Conference Committee, are long gone from the subway
routes.  But they still thrive on a short line elsewhere on the system. |
