Valley Rd. is one of the modest intermediate stops on
the Mattapan-Ashmont line, two stations away from the outbound terminal. Like all
the other streetcar routes, this line originally was numbered. Old
maps show it as Route 28, leading from the Boston Elevated route that
went from Harvard to Ashmont. |
