Gomaco Trolley Co. of Ida Grove, Iowa (in the
western part of that state, located in a fairly sparsely populated county not
particularly close to any major Midwestern city), takes advantage of
the advertising space in the replica cars to show off some of its
models. "Step Back in Time," indeed. The Tampa cars,
however, have air-conditioning, allow for handicapped access, and
feature false rivets outside that hide the much more modern
construction techniques utilized to manufacture the fleet. |
