this scene looking toward the downtown Tampa skyline. This
foreground is occupied by a highly unusual crossing. The
overhead wires mark the right of way of the TECO Line Streetcar.
The other rails belong to CSX. Amtrak's Silver Star makes its way
twice on each journey across
here on its stub-end
journey from Lakeland to Tampa and back to Lakeland along the route between New York City and Miami.
