There is a very large park-and-ride facility adjacent
to the New Carrollton terminal, very heavily patronized. This view
of Metro from down below is from the sidewalk leading to the lot.
Metrorail is the second busiest (to New York City, of course) subway
system in the country. But it does not operate at all hours.
The last trains leave at either at about midnight, or, during weekends and special
occasions, about three hours later. |
