TORONTO HEAVY RAIL
Poor September Light

The above photo, taken in poor light on a dark September afternoon along the western portion of the Bloor-Danforth Subway, shows the substantial character of rail cars used on the subway.  The approaching train is heading to the line's western terminal at Kipling.

TTC operates an extensive bus network within the municipality, and almost all lines intersect with the subway network.  With an $8.00 Canadian all-day pass, valid after the morning rush hour on weekdays, the transportation or urban enthusiast spends the day in pleasant exploration.
