The Howard Beach section of Queens has its quiet
streets and numerous access points to the waters of and near Jamaica
Bay; but it also has the nearby intensity of JFK Airport, and now, the
relatively busy transfer point between the city system and the automated
rail line to and
from the airport. This view is not far from the station. A
train on the Rockaway line is in the background. |
