Stillwell Ave., Former View

This photo from the 1980s shows the Stillwell Ave. Terminal replete with parked traffic.  Far off in the background are the Coney Island Yards, one of the largest complexes on the system, and one of the largest anywhere in the country.

The terminal underwent a massive upgrade between 2001 and 2005, resulting in some lengthy truncated service in the area.  A current view of the covered track area would look far different from this scene.
