The right of way east of Journal Square is four-tracked
for a short while, with numerous switches and a massive signal tower to
allow control
of various train
movements. It's a handsome stretch of urban railroading.
PATH
is at ground level or in the air from before Journal Square out to Newark; a
bit under half of the system is in the open. |
