The pedestrian crossing was somewhat simpler in
the era of overhead wires. I have not been back to this
location since third-rail power took over.
Two tracks merge to one in the background. The rear red
lights of the train in view will soon enough change to bright
headlights, and the train will come back to the station to pick up
passengers
bound for Howard St., and likely beyond. |
