This picture was taken on a cloudless Saturday in May near Irving
Park on the North Side. Service on the "L"
during non-peak hours is limited here to the Red Line, running on the
two center
tracks. This train will shortly execute two
sharp curves, one on each side of the Sheridan station, as it heads
generally south. |
