It is fairly early in the morning in this view from
along Randolph.
The ivy growth on the brick building to the right will become
much more vibrant in appearance later on with the afternoon sun. Part of a Green
Line train is seen heading across
the South Branch of the Chicago River. The massive presence of the Merchandise
Mart dominates the scene behind it.
