The opening of the Pink Line brought with it
something of a CTA visual and media blitz. Entire cars were
painted in a fairly shocking pink -- a sight that could not likely have been imagined not
all that long ago. A printed pamphlet describing train and bus changes
was readily available, with text in English, Spanish and Polish.
The new "Bus & Rail Map" featured a pink ribbon on its cover.
The newly-repainted train in this scene is heading south over Wabash,
near the Randolph station. |
