The Orange Line train in view here has left the
Washington/Wells station. Indistinct ahead of it are the remnants
of a former station and the tower controlling the junction at Wells and
Lake. Orange, Pink and (normally) peak-period Purple Line trains operate
clockwise on the closer track. Only the Brown Line regularly runs
counter-clockwise here, although Purple Line rush-hour trains are
temporarily routed in this fashion because of construction to the north. |
