This image is from the vicinity of the Merchandise
Mart, and looks generally south for a final view of the Lake St. bridge. The train in the
background is on the Green Line, crossing the South Branch of the Chicago
River. It will soon encounter the
cross-tracks and junction at Lake and Wells. At six cars, it is
longer than most of the other trains in view on these pages.
