This view shows a much earlier time at
Wonderland, and brings back fond and distant memories for me. I flew
from La Guardia to Boston -- only my second lifetime air flight -- in
December, 1965, with my brother and a friend for a short day of
exploring and touring, first trip to Boston. It was pretty
wonderful.
The kind of subway car in this scene has long since been retired
from service. An older-style bus is partially visible to the
right. Would that I had taken more photos that day! |
