During the period when Millbrae lost its direct service into San
Francisco, all trains traveled from here by way of the Airport. This
required a reverse movement at that stub-end station, something
unusual on U.S. heavy rail (but also experienced on some PATH runs
at Hoboken, New Jersey). This procedure is no longer utilized. |
