SkyTrain does well on the long,
fairly steep ascents and descents involved in the current river
crossing, and speeds are markedly faster than on the high level
water crossings of older rail systems. This photo shows a train on the New Westminster side
of the water. The highway bridge is beyond, and further still
is
the low-level railroad bridge. |
