The train in this view is stopped at Clayton. A
busy governmental and commercial district lies close by. By the
next inbound station, Forsyth, the line is below street level, soon to
enter a subway portion that feature a underground station at University City-Big Bend.
Both those stops serve sprawling Washington University, part of which
campus which can be seen once the line emerges outdoors again.
With two more
stations further on, the route has joined that of the Red Line from the Airport.
There are only a few photos from along the newer line currently in this
series. All the more reason for another visit.
