The station in this view was originally called Busch
Stadium, the massive presence of which, in a former version, lurks
beyond. The light rail stop is now called Stadium.
There have been three Busch Stadiums in St. Louis, each exuding
classic lines of the ballparks of their respective eras. The
rather ungainly structure in this view, built in the 1960s, has since been demolished. |
