Construction began in 2003 for the Cross-County
Extension, which entered service first known as the Shrewsbury Branch,
and later, the current Blue Line. This 2004
view is from the same location as that shown on the previous page in
this series, above the end of the station at Forest Park-DeBaliviere.
The gentle curve for the older line remains. But much, much else has changed,
and the landscape is raw with construction. |
