By 2004 East Riverfront had its neat and
proper upper roadways restored, blocking in large part the earlier
views of Gateway Arch and the
city. But up above, it was a nice activity on a pleasant day to cross the
Mississippi on
the pedestrian walkway. One could hear and feel the periodic
rumblings caused by MetroLink below. |
