The S. Grand Blvd. overpass and station down below are good
places to observe both MetroLink and nearby freight activity. A freight
track crosses the light rail route here, the only such instance on the
entire network, and a fairly rare occurrence anywhere on light rail in this
country. The green signal for outbound light rail gives the
clearance for trains to proceed.
