ST. LOUIS LIGHT RAIL
Forest Park Station

A bit of autumn color is present as a city-bound train approaches Forest Park station, as it was called then, in this era prior to Cross-County Extension.  The age of the road bridge again speaks to the former railroad heritage for the light rail line along this portion of the route.  A century or so ago the Wabash carried throngs of visitors to the St. Louis World's Fair, located near here.
