Part of the subway portal appears in this view taken from
along Folsom St. Barely visible to the right of the barrier, and to the
left of the closest palm, are the surface rails for a connection to the F-line
Historic route, which joins the median of The Embarcadero just south of the Ferry
Building.
At some point a new E-line will utilize the connection, and
historic cars will share the rails with regular Muni between the Folsom and 4th
& King stations. |
