The single-end running for many of San Francisco's PCCs
restricted them from use in the new Muni Metro subway, with its stub-end
(and originally problematic) terminal at Embarcadero.
This photo is
from the late 1970s, and was taken at the end of the J-Church on 30th St.
It is the last PCC photo appearing in these sections, until the F-line section
dwells on their acquired or restored presence. |
