SAN FRANCISCO LIGHT RAIL
18th St.

An Embarcadero-bound train is just about to cross 18th St. as it leaves Mission Dolores Park and the stretch of private right of way in this scene.  Wires for the light rail cross the wires for one of the city's trolleybus lines here, 33-Stanyan.  It's a very sunny and pleasant September afternoon, and the park is well populated.

The nearby Catholic church, out of sight to the left of the camera, is formally Mission San Francisco de Asís.  It is the oldest surviving structure in San Francisco.
