Most of the trackage along 17th St. that connects
Church St. with Market St. is not utilized in passenger service, but is
traversed on a daily basis to get the historic trolley fleet to and from
overnight storage
at Geneva Barn, near
Balboa Park.
One block on 17th, though, is used as part of the
terminal loop; the distant trolley is waiting at the
Castro station, on the single track through that area. |
