The extension of the F-line from downtown to Fisherman's
Wharf opened in 2000. This scene shows progress well under way to add
rails to a portion of lower Market St. that had not seen any streetcar traffic
for many decades.
An entrance for the Embarcadero BART/Muni subway station
is visible to the right. The station is actually located several blocks
away from The Embarcadero itself. |
