SAN FRANCISCO LIGHT RAIL
Three Cars at Castro

Three PCCs line up at Castro for their individual trips to and through downtown in this view.  Many of the PCCs come not from San Francisco's old fleet, but rather are former Philadelphia units.

The cars are painted to honor the individual color schemes of the systems throughout the country which once utilized this kind of trolley.   The front streetcar pictured here, number 1050, celebrates the paint scheme of San Francisco's own Muni vehicles of
the 1950s.
