About four years later after the photo on the previous
page of this section, this view of Santee Town Center shows that it had decidedly changed. Shops line the
route near the end, and the whole feel is entirely different. On
this early summer evening a crowd was gathered to listen to an outdoor
concert.
Land, still vacant, lies beyond, toward the mountains. And the sky
