Passenger traffic was light this November morning along
the outer portion of what was then the Blue Line route. Qualcomm Stadium, home of the
city's football team and former home of baseball's Padres, looms in the
background.
The sports facility has a three-track station servicing it. For
events taking place there, additional service is provided down by Convention Center to Gaslamp Quarter. And a handful of
Blue Line rush hour trains operate through to that station during the morning and evening weekday rush hours. |
