running along Park Blvd., which was formerly named 12th St. The city's large
and famous Balboa Park lies far-off straight ahead, beyond and to the northeast
of the downtown area.
Park Blvd. is a bit east of the main part of downtown, and likely has a
greater future ahead for it. The next station inbound is at Park &
Market, and one stop beyond that, the rails are curving west onto C
St. There are six stations served jointly by the Blue and Orange
